I've just seen this one for £295
It's a nice shirt (I think so anyway) but a god damn ripoff price.

I would not either, for fear of someone taking the shirt off my back

Shirts.
I'm looking to get me a couple of new shirts, but for the life of me I can't find any that I like.
Ideally I'd like them to be slightly heavier cotton/whatever material, but it's not a deal breaker if they ain't.
Just, why is it so bloody difficult to find a couple of nice shirts?!?
What are you looking for, what price range?.
I'll happily pay £40-£50 for a shirt, as I know I'll get good use out of it.
I saw ones earlier for £240, I will not pay that for a shirt.

Mark

There are a few things that I would be willing to pay extra for, but not shirts. You are right £240 is too much for a shirt.

I quite like Thomas Pink and Hawes&Curtis shirts for work. They offers of 4 for £100.

Is Burn Notice the same every episode? Also, either this is a rubbish DVD transfer or it was filmed on some cheap stock :o
Just like any other serialised TV show.
Also, it's ace. (8+)

Mark

I don't watch shows that are almost exactly the same every week :P

It was likeable enough, but four episodes in and a definite pattern was emerging... also the net says he doesn't find out who 'burned' him until season 2, and that was what was keeping me going. I guess it comes down to 'there's so many better things to watch' :)

My friend's brother founded this company : Harrington and Thomas . Edd got a shirt from there and it's nice :)

Seems debenhams also do tailoring now:

Why are people so stupid?

An acquaintance put some EDL banner up on Facebook 'England: Love it or leave it'.
Then she starts back tracking with 'I don't like the EDL, just the sentiment.'

Also Charles Tyrwhitt and T M Lewin. I also got a couple of nice shirts from crew recently.

Had to talk an occasional client through fixing a mess he'd made of a site I'd designed last year. He's been making changes, and somehow cocked up big time the other day. Of course, he works live rather than on a test server.

It would have been better for him (and me, of course) if he had just told me what changes to make.

Ho hum.

The Smashing Pumpkins are on Classic Rock. That's disturbing in terms of time and taste to my mind

Should I take the rubbish out now or wait till the rest of the building wakes up?

That I could happily tolerate this job if it wasn't for the cretins... Also that I have too many niggly things to do - optician's appointment, dusting, phoning companies...
