Lo Tim :)

Fancy seeing you here :D

I like the minimalism of the forums. PC Problems, Mac Problems, Meeting place. Sounds good to me.

I know it's early days but it might be good to have a "Tech news" forum also?

I remembered to check one in Manchester, near the Arndale Centre today and that had one. I was very excited lol

That the Vickers VC-10 obviously had a well designed undercarriage as Airbus are using a similar design for the new A350.

Number 3 - that isn't a wheelbarrow and that is how meat products are mixed as well. Both the shovel and the container are hygienically cleaned before use.

The rest is all meh, nothing revelatory there at all.

If it were not hygienic then it would not be tolerated either by the company lawyers or the health inspectors. As you said they would be cleaned and used solely for mixing. Most of the others are to be expected with most processed foods.

How to fix my addressbooksync problem on my main iMac. So now rather than getting the memory clogged up and having little free memory I now have nearly 2Gb free and no page outs! :D

The penguin population in the Falklands is increasing because they don't blow up when stepping on a land mine

Wtf?

Quote:
A colonel asked him how the bombs' existence could be kept secret, and Mr Lubbers advised him to give each nuclear weapon part a number so they would not attract attention, he said.

"And that's what happened", he added.

Clearly they picked part numbers that would not be requested normally.

I know I've been away a while but are sheep, penguins or landmines used as fuel in the Falklands these days? :?
