I suffer badly with bites and they come up like yours. Not been bitten so far this summer but I'll make sure I share when I do :)

I could have sworn I posted this reply...

We could start a thread, with mine alone it would be leg-end....

wait for it....

....airy!
*gets coat*

ION I got 2 letters from the tax man, one said I overpaid tax last year in the job I started and got a cheque... the other (likely due to the fact that my old emplyer kept my P45 until after the end of the tax year due to incompetence), that I underpaid tax (considerably more than the rebate)

After the £13 call to their 0845 number (because the letters are still showing the old number and saynoto0870 didn't have one listed (and no net access at the time to find the 03 number on the site) I'm going to complain that my old employer is due to pay as I failed to receive my P45 for 8 weeks after leaving (got it in May) and that without a final pay slip (never got one of those either) they should be liable to pay it as it was through PAYE (and to reclaim the cost of the call)

RAC. My breakdown renewal quote was 165 quid. I phoned them to cancel (new customers get it for £105 plus free onward travel or its £150 with the AA with a £50 Amazon voucher) and suddenly they can do it for £70 cheaper.

Why? It pisses me of that I can't get a decent price in the first place.

Because they can get away with it. And if you take their lower offer, even that will be validation of their tactic because they will still have your business. Unless/Until people start saying 'I'm sorry, if you'd offered me that price in the first place I'd have stayed, but since you showed such bad faith I'm leaving anyway', it will continue to go on.

Not just that but Internet companies will offer different prices depending on your postcode. Why should it matter?

Insurance is acceptable but I was thinking amazon and electricity rates. Things where the costs of delivery are not part of the price. I know that in Northern Ireland you are penalised by delivery charges but should you also pay more for the goods as well, just because you are in a certain town?

Seriously? This actually happens?
You get charged more for the actual item than someone just a couple of streets away from you (as an example)?
I've never actually heard of this.

Yeah, over here in Northern Ireland we do get stung for extra delivery charges, but I don't ever recall anyone complaining that the actual item costs more.

It's soddin' raining and grey here. I wouldn't mind but I'm out to an air show at Manston today. :(

Hope the weather brightens up for you Heather.

Sunny, but very windy here at the moment.

Today after a 2nd trip to the walk in, another prescription for antibiotics (to go on top of the current ones), the person that looked at it drew the lines under strict instruction that if it goes over the line to go to casualty.....

I've got a feeling I'll be in hospital again on a lot longer visit than the past 2 by the end of tomorrow :(

That last photo looks like you've started drawing a head around the bite...

OK, seriously, I hope it's getting better. The bite, not the drawing!

I think that he is worried about it getting larger so has marked the area to see if it is still expanding.
