There are things that bugged me about TDKR right from the start.
At the beginning, a baddie is told to stay in the plane by Bane so there's a baddie's body to find. But the guy turns up at the end! There are other similar plotholes, but the biggest thing that bugged me was the time wasting at the end. It pi$$ed me off in the cinema and it pi$$ed me off tonight. Also agree about the overly convoluted storyline. Too many things in play - the last Batman film of the trilogy, tying in Dent's behaviour, introducing Robin, introducing Bane, introducing Talia, introducing Catwoman, plot twists with Bane, the broken back injury etc.

Some more Batmobiles for you Batmobile - Batman # 311 by hairydalek, on Flickr Batmobile - Batman # 311 by hairydalek, on Flickr Batmobile - Batman # 311 by hairydalek, on Flickr And the Bat Pod from The Dark Knight: Bat Pod - The Dark Knight by hairydalek, on Flickr Bat Pod - The Dark Knight by hairydalek, on Flickr I think this is the poorest model of the set so far. That’s down the the poor quality of the paint work on the face. It’s pretty awful. Look at the eyes! Look at the mouth! Any modellers here will be cringing. I think it looks like Michael Gove. Anyway, the next one looks like a return to form - a nice old car.

You see this kind of disparity between one kind of object and another in various model making worlds. For example, Games Workshop is very good at painting figures, but seems to have less of a clue about how horses look. You'll get excellent buildings and rolling stock in model railway shows, but winter snack drops and scenery look dreadful.
Because the Batman figure is part of the model, I have to take it into account when appraising it. It just reduces the model's impact for me. They would have been better off not trying to do eyes and the mouth. It would have been far better for less detail.
Anyway, glad you like the photos.

Love that, the animated car's very reminiscent of it.

They look like toys rather than models. The packaging looks a bit plain. Was hoping for a Batarang-shaped box.

They showed all the episodes of the original series on ITV4 last year and it was brilliant.

The rumour is we'll find out soon what they intend to do with Batman on film... God knows what they'll come up with after they got away with MoS. I hope to fcuk they don't try to make Batman a full-on loon just so emotionless Clark has to reason with him
