Probably wouldn't be who I'd give the money to, but cool all the same.

It could be worse. Peta and Vegan food banks might be under represented financially in general. Food banks need as much support as possible and the vegan nature of this bequest might be best if spread around many food banks.

Yeah great but why force veganism on others? Vegans take supplements and if you're going to food banks it's unlikely you can afford supplements

I agree with you, but if you are a poor vegan this is a big help. The real problem is people needing to rely on food banks in the first place.

What a horrible altitude. He's not forcing anything on anyone. He's giving, not taking.

It's horrible I'm asking the question? Why does his giving come with conditions? Its like donating to an animal charity and saying I only want the money spent on cats.

It seems an odd way to do it. To further your analogy, if you wanted to help just cats you'd donate your money to a charity that specifically dealt with cats, not to a general animal charity and say 'you can only spend this money on cats, not dogs or rabbits or donkeys'. If he wants to promote veganism, give the money to a charity that promotes veganism. Not one that wants to feed poor people then force them to push a line that they haven't subscribed to.

And there's always a clever dick to rip apart an analogy ;)

Ah bugger it. I am so damn happy nothing is going to spoil today!
