Greetings.

I'm hoping the rain will hold off, as I'm traipsing around Wisley gardens for much of the day.

Things are picking up for the workbench. Just finished one set of model coaches, got two more to complete, and been asked to quote for two more. I've also got a locomotive and another coach pending.

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all

Nice sunny start this morning (even if it is a tad windy).
I think I'll have a easy day.

Morning all.

Impressive lightning strike at the lab yesterday. Much wailing and gnashing of teeth ensued.
Hopefully today will go a little better.

Have a great day folks.

Manchester city council (or various third parties) have decided to dig up at least half a dozen roads on my route into work. Including closing the elevated section of the Mancunian way - careful digging here lads, you might get a surprise. Tomorrow, I'm on the train to work.

Greetings.

It's mizzling here. That is, low cloud and sort of persistent dampness. Makes a nice change from scorching sunshine, I guess. :|

Today will mostly be tying up loose ends, and getting a grip on the mess here in my studio. It's got to the stage where I can barely see the desk any more.

Onwards and sideways.

Bah, really didn't get to sleep early enough last night. Struggling to stay awake on my own in the office now.

Greetings.

Two quotes sent out for building things for people's train sets. It's early days, but I sense some traction [pun intended] is starting.

In other news, I've succumbed to BookFace once more. The ogre has been lurking in my peripheral vision, taunting me. I felt it might help my modelmaking business, so I signed up - only to find my old account, which I had DELETED two years ago, slumbering peacefully, awaiting my return.

It's like Royston Vasey or Hotel California: you can check out but you can never leave. :|

'Ello.

I was on a bit of a high earlier in the week, but now reality bites back.

I sent a couple of quotes off to potential new clients. They've not replied - yet - but you get that kind of sinking feeling they're not going to take up the offer. Well, that's their loss, really. Do they expect me to work for nothing? I'm not exactly going to be bankrolling the UK economy on what I make building models. :|

Anyway, if you have some, enjoy the sun. Looks like it'll be a bit warm today round this neck of the woods.

Onwards and sideways.
