Heh http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013- ... game-tweetI doubt I'll give a crap by then the way the series has been going - it really is looking like they're going down the annual release route

Oh FFS. I really didn't want this. I was hoping for a set of trilogy games that would have been awesome to play. Going down the annual route means the gameplay suffers because nobody ever does anything new. City was a massive overhaul IMO compared to Asylum. Origins looks like a rehashed version of City (same openworld gameplay).
I may pick this up later in the year once everyone's bored of it and are selling it on.

I think this'll be one to rent for me personally. There's nothing to say they couldn't do a good job with it, but it could be diminishing returns from now on.

Will you be able to rent it if the games publishers have their way?

Trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KO0FRBuG ... _embedded#! The in-game graphics are lacking detail there, makes it look really cartoony

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/41 ... -released/There's an awful lot of textures and little details 'missing' there for a game that's out in October

Batman: Arkham Origins Collector's Edition announced http://www.computerandvideogames.com/42 ... announced/Cool statue it has to be said. It's a pity everything else you get with these things is pretty crap. It wouldn't be as bad if the DLC was mostly story missions, can't imagine anyone plays the 'challenge' fights too often

I saw that on CVG. Doesn't interest me. I bought the Arkham Asylum collectors edition which had a Batarang that turned out to be crap. I bought the Arkham City one which has a black-and-white statue of Batman and looks very good. But not buying another one with a Joker. If this becomes an annual installment (which I'm led to believe it is), then I'll wait for one that interests me. The Knightfall will be available as an add on I reckon at some point in the future, and the other stuff might be available in the GOTY edition which I'll buy at bargain basement price.
