8-)

The last game was great for the most part, and ahead of it's time truth be told.

1960's Nazi mechas? I'm not really buying the scenario. It just sounds like an excuse to tag a fairly random FPS with a legendary title.

Of course it could be awesome, but 1960 seems an odd date to set it.

The screen shots look more like Iron Sky. The game play looks fun.

Wolfenstein: The New Order delayed to 2014

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/42 ... d-to-2014/

Probably for the best, though I'm starting to wonder if Sony's gonna have much to crow about on release with the amount of games getting delayed ('big hitter' inFamous has been delayed for instance).

Wolfenstein is multi-platform.

The big games at launch are always the first party ones. This has been true of console launches since whenever. Nobody will buy a PS4 for CoD because it'll be no better than it is on PS3. This is true of all the big multiplatform games this Christmas. People will buy a PS4 if they want to play KZ:Shadow War and DriveClub, not because they want to play a game they can get on the hardware they already have.

I know it's multi, but it still doesn't help. I'm just wondering what else is gonna get delayed, that's all.

It's not like I'm saying what's left is stellar for both sides either, especially the Kinnect-heavy games. They really are determined to push that thing despite all the evidence that motion control's a bit sucky no matter how little the latency.

The thing about Kinect is that it really needs the right games to be a success. Some Star Wars titles could have been excellent to kick start Kinect usage.

This is it, individual titles could be great but very niche also. You might get a couple of big hitters if you're lucky, but most game(r)s don't actually need Kinnect.

I do agree about that. It will be sitting in the corner doing nothing but scanning your room passing on details to the NSA. My point was that a few really good games while niche might be enough to get kinect numbers up to a decent level and then other developers could see the benefits. Fight games could also do very well from the Kinect if done well Wolfenstein could benefit as well, if they can ensure that the hands "holding the gun" was identifiable so you could have group play through the tunnels.

Really? You think lots of people were planning on buying a next gen console because Wolfenstein was going to be on them? Really?

Did I say that? All I'm suggesting is MS have arguably more juice game-wise as it stands right now. Killzone's a bit divisive despite the review scores, DriveClub's sorta going up against Forza, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct (even though I fear they've botched that already), platform exclusives for the future and so on. I personally think Sony could do with something that stands out a bit, or at least some third party cushioning that isn't PSN-based.

Wolfenstein: New Order collector's edition does not include game

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/45 ... lude-game/

Apart from the curious ordering arrangements, that really is a laughable pile of tat
