I've had a reversing camera in the Golf for about 3-4 years now. Love it. It integrates into the badge mechanism for the rear hatch and yes it displays on the satnav. Have never been caught out because I still look in my blind spots, wing mirrors and reversing mirror. The only thing it replaces is having to look over the shoulder and through the rear window.
same. I have a reversing camera in my Yaris. It's a wide angle video with guide line to show the width of the car and also I check around me because I'm not stupid.

Never had a problem. I love it.

On a Yaris?!?! I'm sure I've got shoes bigger than that!

Prof, Same. I have sensors but don't use them (they are drilled in but not wired up as I've not had the time or inclination) and only will be wired up when I sell the car (cost £10 and was for when my gf was driving it as it's very different to hers being a 'bigger' saloon)

What's sometimes good is that because the end of my car drops so sharply, I usually end up leaving a good space to the rear of the car. If I'm reversing into a space with a wall, I only need to stop when it looks like I'm damn near touching the wall, and I'll still about 4-6" spare.
