Whether £80 is too much for a music box set, especially as this is the third set and I don't have the first two... yet.

Will that site have rivals who'll cut the price shortly after release date?

I paid about £25 for a Morning Musume single last year, on release date. Most of that was postage, from hmv.co.JP

About a week later they were on eBay for about a tenth that price...

I actually spend very little because I usually decide "yes, too expensive". However, this is tempting me because it's BD and I accidentally a player last year. I have no disks yet!

I love the it when bands actually release their videos.

I hate banks now. Despite cashing a cheque for a very large amount of money they are saying I can't access the money after the normal clearning time. I will be having words today. I am picking up my car tomorrow whether they like it or not lol.

Suddenly I'm getting lots of calls from banks. I have the mobile number of the branch manager and everyone is falling over themselves to help me.

My cheque wasn't processed. Some idiot member of staff sat on it for 4 days. Also another cheque for someone else. They will be disciplined.

Feeling much better now. And yes I will be getting my car.

Hoorah!

Different banks? Thinking of switching?

No my bank bending over backwards to keep me happy.

The second bank was where I paid the cheque in and I now have the branch manager's mobile number.

Well they know that they would be in trouble if you went to the ombudsman. Just make sure that they reimburse you for any costs that you may have incurred, including all your calls.

Apparently Heston Blumenthal's knocking about the Bay at the moment.

If he can make fish taste like a delicious burger, or some nice dark chocolate, I'm in.

When was the hamster last fed? Is the forum 'hanging' for anyone else?

It's intermittent for me too if that's any consolation.

I have a feeling the database could do with a purge. There are probably thousands of threads that have long since been abandoned that could be cleaned away. That's bound to speed things up somewhat.
