I'm gonna sample the novella and if that's any good I'll read them in order, cheers!

I'll be interested to hear your opinion on it.

Really loving T C Southwell at the moment. Her books are a mixture of fantasy and sci fi. I'm currently reading The Queen's Blade series which is about a eunuch assassin in a fantasy world where everyone has an animal familiar. Just started the 4th one.

Others I have read and enjoyed

Slave Empire 1-3
Cyber Chronicles - have read up to book 3 but there are more to go

All of the first books are free on Kindle / iBooks then £1.99-£2.99 for the sequels. Give them a go :)

Just finished The Holmes Affair by Graham Moore, which was good.

For some reason I really feel like re-reading Dune at the moment.

Try Michael Connelly Harry Bosch series, James Lee Burke Robicheaux series or Jo Nesbo

The Assassin, Christopher Robbins (snigger) - decent so far, supposedly true story, under £2 anyway ;)

The political quotations book I read on the bog  also threw this up

Just read Sherlock Holmes and the Star of India and Dr Jekyll and Mr. Holmes and enjoyed them both.

I'm currently dipping into The Art of Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace and The Art of Star Wars Episode 2 - Attack Of The Clones. I really must get The Art of Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope. I've been meaning to get it for years.

Predator Omnibus is a mixed bag; some of it's utter genius, the rest is drawn out (no pun intended) purely to fill pages. Oh, and there's the occasional panel where it's quite obvious the art and script teams haven't been in sync

I think I'll try to read Comic Heroes magazine next...

Just reading Sherlock Holmes

When I'm done with that, I'll make a start on The Rush to German Unity by Konrad Jarausch
