I was beginning to think we'd seen the last of the excellent Thief games, so it's a happy moment for me. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/03 ... reenshots/

I think I played Thief 3 and loved it. Never completed it though. Was an excellent game and I think on par with the likes of Splinter Cell in terms of stealth/action.
They mention Dishonoured. Never played it - is it a thiefesque game?

I have very fond memories of Thief: Deadly Shadows, Shalebridge Cradle level - still the scariest experience I can remember; and I don't restrict that to video games - I mean scariest experience ever! Looking at the screenshots, it's easy to see why they mentioned Dishonored. There are only a handful of games I have played that I would score 9 out of 10 or higher. Dishonored is one of them.

The imagery looks a lot like Dishonoured. Though I guess there are only a few ways to portray people from that age of history.

I was really looking forward to this but there's so much that reminds me of Dishonored.

I'm starting to see this game available for a pre-order price of £35 on the latest systems which is quite unusual...

Is it one of those things where they entice you and then later the price doubles? I really hope it's not based on some freemium type model where you have to pay for extra stuff or largely dlc based.

Late previews are suggesting it's... not good.
