They should they are a commercial company. A documentary about the US military might not have been charged but they may have asked. With the budgets of games it would not be unreasonable to demand royalties especially if the games feature another companies products. It is one reason why the aircraft in som films look vaguely like genuine aircraft but not identical because of copyright issues. I guess if you use an aircraft in a live action film then the company has already profited from the construction, sale and maintenance. As long as it wasn't CG of course.

That's pretty normal build quality for Acer, isn't it?! We had an Acer laptop at work and bits were always dropping off it - keys, DVD tray facia, battery, you name it!
