I agree, it makes sense for customers as well.

Android gamers now outspending Sony PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS counterparts

http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/an ... ts-1174829

I've only bought a couple of Android games and I only did that cos the tablet was new! I've played neither for more than two minutes. I haven't bought the handhelds because their few games worth buying are priced similar to full-on home console games. They should be starting off at £15 at most the way the market is. Joe Average doesn't give a stuff about the hardware either, just it's price.

Sony will release free Killzone Shadow Fall DLC maps

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/42 ... -dlc-maps/

A very good move, but Killzone's never gonna be able to compete sales-wise if they don't speed up the gameplay

I think they'd be horrifically naive to expect it to. It's more a case that neither BF4 or CoD look that much better on the next gen than the current one TBH, so they want to have an FPS that looks determinedly next gen to show off. In effect it's more of a tech demo than something they think is a genuine genre contender. I'm actually kind of surprised they aren't giving the MP part of it away under PS+.

I think it has the potential to be a story-driven juggernaut complete with all the toys, novels, t-shirts etc, but by necessity they'll have to risk fan wrath.

Video analysis: PS4's XMB features explained

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/42 ... explained/

Can't help thinking diving into your friend's game will actually be that quick; that's a lot of infrastructure you're making your way through, surely? :?

And maybe even longer with a disc...

Sony's secret weapon? PS Vita Remote Play feature will switch on the PS4 too

http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/so ... oo-1175649

Considering the supposed speed in that video where Mr Sleepy ;) jumped into a MP game, will you ever be able to switch your PS4 on remotely and operate it from another country with the Vita via WiFi? Sort of Slingbox gaming...

Low prices might be a better option than draconian DRM or restrictive usage terms.

Can't tell if that's better or worse.
