There's a couple in there I'd swap out for The Day The Earth Stood Still (the original) and the superb Things To Come.

Yep and there were a lot of dreadful comedies in the comedy list and a couple of not so great films I'd certainly have replaced with something else...

There were ten Sci-Fi films I don't recall watching, but I might simply not recall...

Photos as promised, gf did some cakes for a friends wedding, both rather non-traditional from the typical fruit cake, a 3 tier, 3 layer sponge cake with a different filling for each tier, strawberry jam, blackberry jam and lemon curd. And a grooms cake for a NUFC fan :)

Image

Unfortunately the icing on the bird bird went a little soft and drooped a little in the heat of the room

Everyone seemed to really like them and both the bride and groom (and some bridesmaids) had a cheeky look before the wedding and were very impressed

She could have anything causing acute confusion state eg stroke, urine infection, chest infecction etc. I've sent poorly patients into hospital only for the family to call me up in desparation because the doctors have said it's just worsening dementia and this is without any investigations. Cue me on the phone having to rant at the registrar. The threat of me sending the patient back in as soon as they've been discharged (which counts as a "failed discharge") usually works, if I have to resort to it.

Of course, it may be just rapid deterioration of an elderly person, in which case, keeping her comfortable is important.

She forgot how to speak french a few months ago and reverted to speaking patois only. Also became pretty violent. It's all really concerning

The problem is that this could happen to almost anyone once they get older.
