Get yourself a new one when they update it, and if you ever find it you'll always have one you can leave in your bag ;)

French public transport.

GF has been stuck for 3 hours near Dijon with delay after delay for her to get to her training, was supposed to take about 2 hours (arrive about 6:30) and all she has been able to gather is a train caught fire, someone has had to be removed from the train for medical reasons and Dijon train station is full and they are having to remove trains before they can get to the station. As a result I've been getting the stressed texts :(

The courier we use at work has a prepaid coloured label system for sending satchels and parcels. It's a bloody pain as the tariff chart for example has combinations such as; lime, green, teal and red, pink, cerise. It's a right shambles trying to match them up to the actual colours on the tickets.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

How do the colour blind cope?

Is it more than $25?

Unfortunately unless they collected the tax and paid it then you have to pay instead. It might not help if they add postage to the total amount. I have some items on order that will get stopped for tax unless I pay it myself. The problem is that each transaction through the Royal Mail costs £8 admin fee. So I now get things sent to Bundlebox and pay the tax myself and forward the parcels to myself, so no more admin fees.

The handling fee by RM is actually the problem, and the Customs fee bears no resemblance good or bad to the order's value anyway! But together they add up to a cost I'd better get back if the company wants any more business from me.

Yes that is why I now pay the tax myself when I get them delivered. An £8 fee on top of a 10p tax is crazy.

Had a few beers last night and found out this morning that I had bid on a couple of items on trademe. Been stressing about it all day and rather glad this evening to find that the reserve hadn't been met.

I wouldn't be surprised if Customs put your name on a list - I've just had the second batch of t-shirts stopped by them, with a totally arbitrary lower figure quoted than previously

It seems I've got a worse chance than average when it comes to them :x

Depends on the delivery company, RM used to get caught but DHL used to be fine for me, and they crack down on it as it's obviously a good earner getting £8 'handling fee' on top of £4 VAT

The first attempt at delivering the first batch of Ts seemed to fail when DHL handed it to their 'partner' RM, who promptly sent it back for reasons I can't fathom - the T company said it was one of the orders that suffered a 'glitch' (human error would be my guess).
