Thanks for the advice. It's not antihistamine creams. It's tablets - which my wife had got me in the morning, and my GP told me to carry on with (he was glad I had started doing things before I saw him). I know antibiotics can take a couple of days to start to work. I am just horribly impatient at times. I'll give ice packs a go later. The itching gets worse over night, so I'll give that a go then. As an aside, the town had some prayer healers who seemed a bit keen to talk to me. I tend to tell people like that to go away, but I was tempted to see if they could pray it better.

The insect bite seems to be responding to treatment. The rash, which was almost up to my elbow yesterday has dulled down and has receded to pretty much the site of the bite. The blister is still there and it looks angry, but the swelling is lessening now too. Also far less itchy, which is a major relief in itself to be honest.

I suspect that would be pay per view.

How unintentionally funny the first series of Star Trek TNG is, the cheap plastic technology, the almost-immediate death of Mr Singh, the Indian chief engineer, Tasha Yar continually talking about rape gangs, Geordie being the blackest man in space. They were really finding their feet.

TNG & DS9 both improved with beardage.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Was Mr Singh the guy that Q froze in the bridge during his first encounter with the crew of the Enterprise? If so, I'm fairly certain that he didn't actually die. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

Concerned over my mental state. Have been involved in an RTA*, had my appraisal yesterday and have been summoned to coroner's court for a patient who died in hospital. Twice now, I have driven on the wrong side of the road.
In the first instance, I turned right from a side road on to a main road. There were no "No Entry" or "No right turns". Fairly instantly, I realised that I wasn't in the left hand lane of a main road, but on the oncoming side of a 40mph dual carriageway (both sets of lanes separated by a HUGE grassy treelined reservation). Quickly turned around and corrected it.
In the second instance, I thought I was further up the road than I was because the road turns into a dual carriageway after the roundabout. Approaching the roundabout, I wanted the righthand exit so drove on the right hand side of the road. Quickly realised my error once I saw a car coming off the roundabout. This was a road I'm only vaguely familiar with.
Thankfully, in both cases, nothing happened. On both occasions, I was in the hire car.
*note: Third party pulled out of a side road into me whilst I was in the *correct* lane of a normal 30mph main road. Not my fault!

You getting enough sleep etc, mate? It certainly seems like you've a lot on your mind, and no wonder! Maybe a break if that's possible?
