No. 64 where his lifting the car is compared to him lifting his new wife... The Swamp Thing and TDKR covers are personal faves.

More anime than manga, but I thought this was the bay place for it:

news clicky

A sad day for animation.

Grant Morrison - when are we gonna see the back of him?

I'm 'trying' to read the New 52 Superman from the start and even with prior knowledge it's a struggle; utterly wanky writing in places, scene splitting with unseen characters just on ONE page, 'footnotes' in the dialogue* that could have actually been used to explain what the fudge was going on...

People like Morrison are part of the reason comics are so inaccessible. The first comic I picked up was Batman Hush believe it or not, and I was pretty clueless then but I could still follow it even though it had a load of characters etc

* Knowing Morrison, these will appear issues down the line when all they'll be is weirdly out of place, but you'll still be expected to remember!

I've just got a little more up to date with Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service Volumes 10 and 11. 'Class Cutter' was quite grim by their normal standard and was one of the most memorable stories of the entire run. Here's a look at a couple of panels:

Still no sign of the proposed live-action TV show or movie though, which surprises me.

Folks, give Lazarus (Greg Rucka) a go, I think you'll like it. It's just the perfect mix of action and our own 'slowly getting there' politics and science, without going overboard with the latter. And if that is what you're after, the letters pages will see you making notes!
