I'd guess an awful lot of 'terrorist' arrests are absolute bunk, but then stats are always problematic. Either way, the legislation allows for serious process abuses as we've seen in recent years and even weeks.

The other 68 were charged under other legislation, Home Office figures show.

It looks like the arrests for terrorism offences were used as a fishing expedition for any possible crime.
