9/10

Got the first one wrong as I never read the book.

I knew all the rest though.

I should have known that one as I read it to my son a few months ago.
It's a good one.

I only knew one answer, but scored 5 by guesswork. For example, I was pretty sure there were no mention of Cheerios...

A reasonable effort! Nothing that a few more lessons with Miss Honey won't solve.
...

1. James (of Giant Peach fame) is forced to live with his horrible aunts when his parents die. How did they meet their unfortunate end?

Correct answer: spoiler removed

I'm amazed I remembered that much, they really are excellent books.

6/10 here but I hadn't read most of the books so I wasn't too disappointed.

I got 9/10 but only because I got Question 1 wrong. I thought the Aunts got killed when the peach rolled over them (at least in the version of the book I read) after the caterpillar chews it free from the tree, but that wasn't one of the optional answers.

Did you misread the question?
It asked how his parents died, which is why he started to live with his aunts.

Ah! Yes I did. I read as far as Aunts and thought it was asking about how they died. You can tell I'm not taking exams any more can't you
