I happens a lot at football matches. I vaguely remember some bananas being thrown at black players during an international club football match. UEFA should basically punish the teams with automatic loss and suspension from such tournaments for 5 years. It might be a bit harsh but if clubs suffer financially for it then they might actually try and stamp it out in their club.
