Actually, talking of PS+, you have to wonder how long it'll be before it achieves the sort of content you get now :|

Yep, there is that. Apart from DriveClub (which is a somewhat cut down version of the retail product anyway) all the stuff that's been announced/rumoured for PS+ up until Christmas is games that will be digital only anyway; indie game stuff mostly. They can hardly be giving away the launch window games when the thing's only been out five weeks.

I meant the experience overall; The RRP for the games is already laughable (it won't last of course), so asking even something similar online and spending hours downloading it (I wonder will you still need double the size of the download in free space) would not be cool. Even with petrol costs it's currently cheaper to go to a store for many, and quicker too! You even get to own the game in a more literal sense ;)

Certainly if you've got a capped internet package you won't be buying any 'full fat' games digitally.

Xbox One day one update expected to take 15-20 minutes

Remember when sh1t just worked?

You can't even get the system you've been promised for your hard-earned without an update. The games? They might work. They might not. Probably not.

Frankly I think GTA Online may have broken the internet somewhat. Pretty much everything has seemed a bit slower for me the last couple of days..

Towing the massive anchor of Sony's failboat does tend to rather wash out all other factors...

I have no idea about the GTA Online but from what I have read it might be the future of online gaming according to some reports so it might be rather busy there.
