I worked there on contact for a while. They bought a couple of hundred new terminals, but instead of shielded ones, they got standard DEC VT220s. The first radar test wiped nearly all of them out! :lol:

It's not like our subs have they same kind of reactors as some Soviet designs that require constant external chilling when not in use.

EDIT

I've confused myself. Some of their designs required constant heating when not in use. My mistake.
Still. Our subs have diesil generators for back up power. Surely they could be used to provide power for cooling pumos?
