With the cameraman behind the rocket launcher I thought it was a scene from Four Lions.

When we looked at the puppies, they had 2 left that we could choose from. Little Lulu clambered over the sofa towards me and started to suck on a finger, then she climbed onto my hand and fell asleep. That made the decision for is.

Should be number 2. Have the judges never been to Rotherham?

Gibraltar? Seriously? I was thinking of going there for a holiday next year.

There is a place called Gibraltar between Aylesbury and Haddenham. Tiny place, nothing more than a truck stop iirc.

IIRC the judges don't tour the whole of Britain looking for crap towns. They accept submissions, evaluate them and then go look at the best/worst (depending on how you look at it) candidates. If nobody nominated a place it won't get in no matter how crap it is.

Plenty of places that are nice to go for a holiday but you wouldn't want to live.

I am off there eventually for a short break, but my parents went a couple of years ago and said it was a dump compared to what it was like in the past. I am only planning a short break, to see where I lived many years ago.

Southampton was a dull down some time ago and clearly has not improved.

They don't have much choice of newspapers in teh office canteen, so I've bought the Daily Express for most days I've been here this trip.
There' been at least three Diana stories and at least three Madaline McCann stories already.
Change the record!!! I want current news in a newspaper.

Each rescue mission costs at least £290 to deal with, meaning they have set the taxpayer back at least £377,000 in total.

To rescue Rogers todger from the toaster. £290

The news value for the rest of us - priceless.
