Some sort of syncing issue messing up functionality? I never use the Kindle devices app unless it's a graphic novel I've bought from them on my tablet. I've a feeling it is a syncing problem since I have to keep logging in with StK, freezes etc. _________________Plain English advice on everything money, purchase and service related:

No, the Kindle app for Windows only supports loading books from the cloud, it is not possible to load books locally. And Amazon only supports sending books to actual Kindle devices, not apps.

^^^I've experienced that too. You want to read an article for example and it will load everything else first before loading the article.

Gah! I'm trying to fill in an online application for an internal vacancy at work.
One of the required fields is Line Managers e-mail. It won't accept my managers e-mail address (which is, naturally a company e-mail address).
I have no idea why it won't accept it. Unless my line managers been changed and nobody told me... again.

If they had it might have been a good idea to tell me about it. We share an office and I sit next to them, albeit with a partition (with a window) between us. In any case, my application went in from a work PC without any problems and I now have an interview for the job on the 14th
