Personally, I see it as a completely reasonable response, especially considering the friendly wink and the good humour with which his comments you so rudely rejected were given. If you actually give a hoot, then you can look it up. Expecting someone else to copy / paste or type up her biography is unreasonable. I refer you to the opening post of my tongue-in-cheek thread about Megan Fox. However, I right-clicked on her name and selected the Google option. Having explained the process, I shall now paste the result here for you:

Well, we'll just have to disagree about that. Personally, I find it exactly equivalent to saying 'go find out yourself' which I don't exactly consider to be polite or friendly. I wasn't particularly having a go at that post, but it does seem to be increasingly the case that if you ask any sort of question at all in a lot of forums, that's the only response you get. Some forums have even taken it to short hand - 'jfgi'. Or I could ask and expect the person who originally mentioned it to tell me. That's kind of what we did before Google existed. I don't think using Google to replace communication between people is necessarily a step forward for the human race. I didn't expect her whole life story. In fact just typing 'She's a fashion person on TV, like Trinny and Suzanna only worse' would have taken less effort than typing what actually was posted... Jon

That may be true, but it was the first one I could find of her that wasn't a rubbish close-up

But that's just it, I had no clue what she was doing now and only the vaguest of what she used to do, which wouldn't have been very helpful (and poorly explained, as always, by me) - that's why I figured you'd be better Googling it...

Ah, I see. I wouldn't want to discourage people from being helpful if they can. In that case I apologise for misreading your intentions. Jon

I am not so shallow that I actually fancy someone purely because of their looks. The chances are that any woman, no matter how good looking would not get my attention if she didn't have the personality to back it up.
If you took Jennifer Aniston and gave her Jade Goodie's personality, I would NOT fancy her, no matter what. I would actually (almost- but not quite) rather have it the other way around.
To show how I am not mind-meltingly shallow, I have just looked at 25 women in a top 50 on Askmen.com (Googled it, I've never heard of it) and Jennifer came in at 25 (travesty). Of the other 24, I hadn't heard of most of them. Some of the names I knew- such as Heidi Klum- but not what they were "famous" for and most of them I didn't fancy.
The only TV/movie star that I have consistenly fancied (for many years now) is Kim Cattrall and if it turned out that she had the personality of a footballer's wife, I'd drop her straight away.
In fact, one of the few new-to-fame women that I have fancied in recent years is Ruth Badger from the apprentice and it is rumoured that she bats for the other side, although she was married.

I know what you mean, but some of these women I personally find sexy*, even setting aside their looks. * Fiona Philips was just blatantly horny on GMTV IMO, continually leaning forward to show her cleavage and rubbing her legs all the time

I think most men with an IQ above 20 would agree with that, but there's a big difference between liking someone and just thinking "Phwaww!". Some women ooze sex appeal, even though they turn out to be incredibly annoying. In fact, I find it quite common for really sexy women to be really quite unpleasant. I'd never actually want anything to do with such a character, and I'm very "old fashioned" when it comes to physical relationships. However, that doesn't stop me thinking unhealthy thoughts. As an example of "unhealthy", there was a woman at my old company who was an absolute bitch but kind of hot. Neither of us work there any more, so I think I'm fairly safe in confessing that every time she opened her evil lying mouth I really wanted to say "Try saying that with this in you mouth, bitch". I half believe we might both have enjoyed the moment, perhaps frantically doing it on the photo copier half in passion and half in violence, but it's not something I'd particularly want to live with... although the hard-copy would have been amusing.

+1. There are a few "glamour model" girls who are absolutely stunning but the moment they speak, their chavvy voices ruin everything.

See now for me it has to be David Tennant. Don't ask me why, there's just an auroa about him, I can't really explain to be honest. The thing is, he annoys me loads. Stupid faces he pulls when he's trying to sound English.

I can't deny that certain women are very, very sexy, but to actually "fancy" them, I would need to know more about them and some of those that I do know anything about are clearly empty-headed bimbos.

He's a very nice man. I'd approve thoroughly if you two were to settle down and raise a vast brood of bishlettes and uh... junior doctors.

I really would have no problem with the Doctor sounding Scottish. His natural voice and accent fine, and they’ve done the Northern joke already. Infact, I think it would have improved his performance no end. Why everything on TV has to sound like it’s crawled out of the mud in the Thames Estuary is beyond me. It seems that a lot of TV seems to require the Mockney Accent though. I feel I have add names to the list now. I think I’ll add Fearne Cotton to the list. She is bloody annoying, and I really think she should drop the “rock chick” act because it seems so damn false, and never, ever give her a microphone without a script. However, I do find her attractive, even if she does have a slightly unconventional nose.

Ooh yeah, Fearne's tasty. And slightly annoying. Good choice. A friend and I were drunk in a bar in London when we spotted her and a friend at the bar. We eventually ended up standing next to them, talking far too loudly about who should be the one to take Fearne home.
Alex's Tip Of The Day: Men! Do not do this! Women are not impressed, no matter how amusing you may find it at the time!

Actually, you've reminded me of a classic 'real world' example . As I have mentioned before, I went to university in Swansea. I'm sat there in a lecture theatre on the first day and in walked this utterly gorgeous girl. Pale skin, long dark curly hair, very pretty... She and her friend sat down on the row in front of me, which I'm fairly pleased about because it meant I would probably get a chance to talk to her and she started talking to her friend and ... her voice was just like nails down a blackboard. Imagine Janet Street Porter's voice with Ruth Madoc's accent. OK, she can't help her voice sounding like that and the accent is just where she was brought up but it completely put me off. Admittedly, I was younger and much more picky at the time . She was a nice girl as it turned out although she only lasted the first year. I'm sure she found someone to be happy with but it wasn't going to be me. Jon
