It's normally where they've either brought forward a prosecution just to be complete barstewards, or where their evidence is inadmissible or their case would get laughed out of Court.

Eugh, that pisses me off!! Why would they even bother? What in the world possesses them to even think they can win? The other issue is that he has lost his job over this
Will the CPS compensate him
Will he be able to get it back – I bet not
The guy has probably had his life ruined due to some political prosecution

What's wrong with wanting Girls Aloud dead (there is a interesting philosophical question about whether you can kill something artificial) the sick bit is considering anything sexual with such a shallow bunch of talentless, vapid, plastic monstrosities.
