Only found out today, wondered why they hadn't sent me any discs in a few days - it would've been nice if they'd put a notice up on their site!

It's the one place where I was able to rent games FFS.

EDIT - An email from them says they're still trading  :?

I wonder how much debt the new buyers loaded on to the company before it collapsed?

I don't know. Next question, what kind of [LIFTED] would be stupid enough to buy that debt?

The second collapse of Blockbuster UK marks the struggles that game and film retailers face in an increasingly prevalent market of online content and digital downloads.

What with eBay and Amazon you can quite readily get films without having to leave your sofa. Though I wonder how much online rental has impacted? I do feel sorry for the staff though. Losing their jobs so close to Christmas.
