He played Jeffrey Sinclair in Babylon 5. First off, he died last year. I wasn’t aware of this. Secondly, it seems that he had a mental illness that caused him to leave after the first series. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_O%27Hare

I preferred him to Bruce Boxleitner.

Same here, though Michael O'Hare was great as Valen.

They were different characters, although I preferred Bruce, Michael was a bit stiff, but that might have had something to do with his illness and not worked into his character, Bruce had 4 years to work himself into El Presidente.
It is sad that such a great man was so afflicted.

I know they were different characters, I remember it reasonably well (surprisingly) and the arrival of Sheridan didn't make up for the loss of Sinclair. Bruce grew into the role very well, I'll admit, but the transition seemed the stall the show a little.

I have all the seasons on DVD and rewatch them regularly. It is the only show I rematch with any regularity.

I used to listen to the Babylon 5 podcast, so I knew a lot of the cast had died. It is scary just how many of the cast have departed and many of them were still young.

Same here. A few had been old when they filmed the series but some like the two doctors were much younger. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I was certainly struck by how many of the cast have died in their 60's which is isn't any great age these days.

Sadly, the opening credits has much the same feeling as the closing credits for Dad's Army. dead, dead, just about alive, still alive, dead, dead etc, etc.....
