Yes they are great unless you have to use them for something like washing up the dishes You lean over to reach stuff in the sink. It is not an ergonomic design.

Funnily enough taps are quite advanced now and they swivel enabling you to move them out of the way when you're moving the sink. I guess Mrs Benson does the washing up

I think you have misunderstood my take on this. I do plenty of washing up thank you it was not the tap I was referring to, but the under worktop sink.

Start date for building works is now 18th. So excited! This is the sink we've gone for. Also going to have opaque glass splash backs.

We thought of thiose - went for the same quartz that we ahved at the work surface in the end Looking at re-doing the bathroom and rather than re-tile the whole thing have a glass "splash back" where the shower will go

I'm going with Preedy glass who were recommended. They do bathrooms too. http://www.preedyglass.com

We went for a square sink instead of a more rounded one, also polished steel. Pain in the rear! Expensive and the worst investment ever. They are a pain to clean and scratch easily; I wish we'd gone for cheap, traditional sink and drainer now...

We hace square one but its bushed stainless so does not show the scratches - and we always use a bowl in the sink anyway

Glass splash back and flooring for the kitchen will be done in January. They start the shower room next week. Here's the tiles I have chosen. Very bling!

Glad you specified opaque glass splash backs. An aquaintance has clear, the bead of silicone used to adhere the glass to the wall is clearly visible.
