A colleague just gave me a Sony Xperia hand me down smartphone. A few years old by all accounts but much smarter than the $30 nokia I've been using since 2009.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

No heating. The heating company chose the coldest day to start work on our heating. We had a gas connection laid to the house, the council also decided to replace the mains water while they were at it - the old one was from the 60's and was still leas, now we have a nice plastic one.

Then the old oil heating system was removed and they started putting in the new gas one. They have most of the pipes for the water in place, today they need to lay a gas pipe right across the house from where it comes into the cellar and across to the heating room. One advantage of the new system is hat a hot water circulation pump, which means that hot water should flow straight away, no waiting for 20 plus litres of water to go down the drain, before it is hot.

I love that he'd never heard of the band :)

Why am I getting a 406 error message when I'm trying to create a new thread?

Mark

Yeah but since removed it and typed it out myself.
Also pasted the whole message in to a plain text document and copied it back to the forum and still the 406 message keeps appearing

Would something as simple as closing the tab/browser help? I'm clutching at straws...

1. I should have taken yesterday off work. Weds felt a bit run down but otherwise fine. Everyone else around me (household, work, even brother-in-law's family when I went to visit) were all bunged up with coughs/colds, not to mention the patients. Thurs I felt pretty crap. I suspect I'd have been okay if I'd managed to have had more than three hours sleep. Fri was horrendous. Feeling on the mend now.

2. I made probably my best attempt at a French omelette today. Perhaps slightly too wet in the middle for my liking but perfect colour, texture and shape on the outside.

We got Lulu on Thursday. She is very lively. She missed her siblings the first evening, but has gotten used to the situation. We went for a walk with her this morning on the canal, she was well behaved, but has lots of energy.

Console yourself with a video:

http://youtu.be/9neDaN6l07c

http://youtu.be/gHrZ5ekbZ7Y

I don't know what it is, but she flips out when she sees her brush! The second one is her with her toys and is just cute.

Edit: The first video is still uploading, will probably be available at around 14:30.

The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre

if they're round your way go see them. They're brilliant and it probably won't cost you very much at all. Typical Example
