The only thing I've noticed personally is how late the post is getting - you're talking 7pm some nights! I've no idea whether that's the entire day's collection or what.

I suspect that's a reflection on the changes to working practices that were brought in before the RM was privatised.
Round here we had a letter from RM about changes to all the city postal routes and this could result in some area having significantly later deliveries than had previously been the case. There can also be overlapping 'walks' for normal post and the vans that carry the bulkier parcels.

My mail arrived yesterday at 3 pm and 10 am today. I do not worry as I am at home all day but difficult for people who are waiting for something to arrive.
