Well that might help you take out your entire family with nunchucks! And if that doesn't work, hit them over their heads with the book.

I had to change arms just carrying the books home - every one of them's a hardback! The Works is an amazing shop; it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but Vinnie Jones autobiography is only out and a fiver in hardback, massive Star Wars books, that Cowell biography that gave the press something to write about all over again... Not to mention two for £10 deals and so on.

Just finished Boneshaker, will get to the 2nd one in a bit. Currently in teen dystopian fiction, reading the Uglies series. Line up are World War Z and some Emile Zola.

Just read Sherlock Holmes: The Stalwart Companions by H. Paul Jeffers , which was OK, followed by The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Peerless Peer by Philip José Farmer (24 Jun 2011) which was one of the worst books I've ever read.
I've just started my first Lee Child book Bad Luck And Trouble which I'm enjoying so far. I like the hard-boiled style of the writing.

Along with a boatload of articles I've been on a comics spree...
Deadshot TMNT Lazarus Four Horsemen (Heavy Metal)
All awesome, especially Horsemen. Utterly awful however was Robocop Last Stand, there's just nothing good there. Sons of Anarchy is just average so far.
Recent talk of Jack Reacher has me starting right at the beginning. Soon, anyway.

Just finished my second Reacher book - Echo Burning - and enjoyed it. The frantic nature of the last hundred pages reminded me of Stephen King at his best.

If you like the Lee Child books look in to the Harry Bosch series by Michael Connelly starting with The Black Echo (1992). C

From what I read of it, it's absolutely brilliant at drawing you in.

Girl on the Net - This was a Popbitch link and since it was 57p or something I bought it lol. It's basically her shagging and telling you about it, but also a bit of a look into her head as she goes along. Now that sort of thing is everywhere these days but I rarely read it, so I'm giving this a go. I also have a notion, like many people do I suspect, of writing something one day, and I'd like any potential female characters to be at least vaguely realistic
