Probably the police. Unless you are near the sea I doubt it will be the coast guard. Even living near the beach I have only see the coastguard helicopter once.

I never really consider that, it is not really a normal occurrence round here. Though I do see them race along the coast from time to time.

We get Pumas over here in formation on a regular basis out on exercise. In Southampton, we'd get Chinooks going over on a regular basis.

Whether I can get away with stripping down the unit that failed yesterday.
My boss is saying he'll source the parts this week...... I'm going home on Wednesday.
Will they be here before then?
I hope not. It'll be a major pain in the arse to do. As far as I'm concerned it's got Matthias' name all over it

The nebulous quantity that is 'emotional intelligence'. Or, more accurately, why the received wisdom is that women have much better emotional intelligence than men, when most of the women I know seem even less capable of correctly interpreting male behaviour than their boyfriends/husbands/I do of theirs.

How long I'm going to have to sit in this virtual waiting room, and whether there'll be any Monty Python tickets left when it's my turn to buy.
