That's not a raise, it's a bluff.

So damn tired

Even lots of caffeine is having no affect.

Caffeine has never perked me up but just stopped me from drifitng off to sleep, no matter how close I am to sleeping.

Xmas works do - ours was okay but only because the trainees turned up which made it more interesting.

These days I'm still fairly caffeine naive so if I drink red bull (typically 1-2 per week), I get palpitations and tremors. Get the same if I eat too much chocolate.

Feck yes, bit wintry. I was driving along a dual carriageway on the way home doing 35MPH, such was the force and volume of the rain that was hitting the roadway. I could just about see where I was going even with the wipers on 'full on hardly ever used' speed.

There's nothing like mixing with other pre-Christmas shoppers to thoroughly trash the idea of 'Goodwill to all men.'

My niece, who is I think 27, is obsessed with the whole Stobart thing. She goes to meeting and what have you. I find it incomprehensible, but I suspect it's actually no more strange than say ComiCon..

I knew that Stobart had something of a cult around it (for reasons I can't fathom), but it's the dullest programme on TV. And that takes some doing.
