It's just a coincidence that PSN has listed quite a few of those games for price drops, is it?

What happens if you need to re-download? Is the game you've paid for still available or is it just 'tough'?

Previously some games which have been withdrawn have still appeared in people's 'past downloads' list and have been downloadable if you'd already purchased them. However if they physically remove the files from the PSN servers, I don't see what people could do about that.

Issues like re-downloading could taint the whole digital industry with risks that the end consumer will find unacceptable.
