I wish contemporary authors wouldn't let their research ruin a good novel - less is more! I don't need to know that some place has a ringroad (yes, seriously) or that the neighbouring district had narrow streets, especially if that doesn't factor in the plot

War and Peace by Tolstoy
It is very good so far - much better than the Karamazov Brothers

I have learned a lot about counterfeiting from the Reacher book I'm reading at the moment. I've also learned a little about weaponry and how to headbutt people for maximum effect.

That's perfectly acceptable in the context of a Reacher book, I just can't imagine much time is wasted telling you exactly what lead to the grass being a particular shade of green in a supposedly explosive thriller lol.

If you've any interest in Simon Wiesenthal at all, pick this up! Fascinating book, and on Kindle sale at around a quid for a while.

Been reading the Terminator Salvation: The Final Battle comics. They're written by J. Michael Straczynski and they do far more with that film's potential than it did. Highly recommended if you're a Terminator fan, though you'd be better starting with Terminator 2029 to 1984, and 1984 itself.
I've been reading loads of comics inbetween Nazi Hunter book chapters; He-Man (average with so much potential), TMNT, Dead Body Road, Lazarus, Sherlock Holmes: Moriarty Lives (REALLY good), Deceivers (rough in every sense).

Terminator Salvation: From The Ashes - it's not bad but it's a bit hampered by the fact you know who will never be in any real danger. I'm looking forward to the next book cos it's more distanced in that sense.

First of all, I'm wondering why my new Batman Arkham comic looks like a faded graphic novel from the 80s. Though it actually helps the artwork! I'll add a picture if I can find one online, some of it's shockingly bad for a Batman comic, digital-first or not. ION I've started Terminator Salvation: Cold War which already has the fantastic image of a Terminator express train

Apart from anything else, they've known for years who each other is Catwoman's much sexier as a character when they give the reader less - her own GNs are mostly done in a cartoony style and they still have more effect than that. No matter what the medium, you've kinda jumped the shark when you know they've shagged.
