The Apple 32" 4K version at £3500 is nice but if you are buying a Mac Pro it adds up to quite a lot.

My thoughts exactly. I'd rather pay 100 quid for a normal 1080p monitor... Or 400 for a 27" 2560x1400. If I am just looking at photos, it might be worth it, but why pay twice as much as I would for a 2.5K monitor, in order to run it at 1080p?
