Worst - Gone Home (PC Game). OK it was cheap but by god it's possibly the most overrated game I've ever played.

That's the problem with the indie/artsy fartsy games - people and reviewers are so desperate to have something to latch onto and justify for credibility. Though that's not to say the other end of that scale with 'AAA games' doesn't have similar issues.

It must be. From what I can tell the game is universally praised by the gaming press and universally panned by the actual gamers.

An Olympus VG-170 camera for £10 from Tesco. A tenner! I'm giving it to my nephew for his birthday.

Went and ordered the Robocop BR, more for the extras than anything else. Then off course Amazon suggested The Terminator... The cheap straight razor I ordered arrived and could go either way - I need to sharpen it but the handle's so cheap it'll never be trusted, but then I expected that as it's only a test before I buy an expensive one.

The razor wasn't remotely sharp to start with and I've stropped it against all the usual suspects, nothing. Plus the 'hinge' is rusty which suggests it had previously been returned

A new blade needs to be sharpened on a stone first to get a V then you can strop it to keep the edge

I had wondered about that but the box only mentions using a strop or denim/leather at the start. Again making me think it's been battered previously and it'll actually need honed.

A second hand Samsung 2232BW 22" monitor for my desk at work.
The disparity between the 30" Dell at home and the poxy 17" Acer in my office was driving me up the wall. The gaffer was never going to cough up for a new monitor, and I already use my own keyboard and mouse, so why not?

Andy Parsons Gruntled... Now, I got this in Poundland but that's no excuse , it really is awful. He starts off with a boatload of political stuff and then seems to realise he'd better throw in a few knob gags before people start walking out Even at that, he then sits down in a chair in the middle of it all and carries on talking. I can only assume he physically wasn't at his best when this was recorded, in fact he looks to have tears in his eyes at one point I hope to fcuk my other comedy purchases aren't this bad - I'm loathe to even give this to the charity shop in case some other poor bugger pays a quid for it
