This would be the thing that at launch they claimed would be totally impossible because SimCIty leveraged the massive computing power of 'The Cloud', yes? CPUs have obviously come on some in the last 8 months.

The whole thing has been a joke. I still haven't played it because the game they released is no longer the same game as the previous versions. If they had put the new technology into a game that could be played like the old games it would have been brilliant. But fixed landscapes, small cities, online mode, multiplayer, etc... Just no

Yes it was too much of a change for me.

Now it has an offline mode I might give it a go when it's on offer/cheap. I'd still prefer bigger cities though. I haven't played it but isn't the idea that you specialise your city and create links with other cities with different specialisations or something?
