Greetings.

Frost and fog this morning. I need to act as taxi for my neighbour to the hospital for a blood test, then some shopping-type chores, then I can get back to the workbench and crack on with things.

I'm working out some prices for a potential commission, for someone in Australia!

Dare I say it? Oh, go on then. Onwards and upwards!

Morning all

Cold start but not as chilly as yesterday.

Hopefully I'll get my MBP back from the shop today so I can stop using my temporary machine.

Greetings.

A night's rest has helped my ankle recover. It's still a bit tender, but not debilitating. I'm not sure whether it's the physical injury or the embarrassing nature of an adult falling over their front step that hurt the most!

Today, sorting a model loco suspension and ride height. Soldering iron on, kettle on standby.

Greetings.

The central heating appears to functioning within normal parameters once more. My anger levels with recalcitrant hardware hit new heights yesterday. Quite apart from a fairly new laptop drive being about to croak, my laser printer decided paper wasn't what it did these days. Hand-feeding thirty sheets of A4, with inevitable jams, is not my idea of fun.

This morning, the printer has decided its magenta cartridge is all wrong. I think the whole thing is not long for this world, and may well be hastened to Silicon Heaven if it doesn't pulls its chips together and start behaving. It's just as well we were given the machine in the first place…

Onwards and sideways.

Evening all.

Note to self - Vans (the shoes) are not good when there is a thin veneer of frost about.

Ah well, at least I managed to stay upright although I imagine the person who was walking down the nearby path got a bit of a shock with the fairly loud swearing that occurred.

Anywho, Weekly Wipe is on tonight so Yay
