I actually watched a really awful American remake of 'The Prisoner' (yes, the Portmerion thing) because it had Ruth Wilson in it. Eight hours of my life she owes me

I think it does depend on how many streams that you use. It might be worth signing up quickly if I want to get grandfathered in to the current terms.

I use it for all sorts of things, from TED talks to cartoons and movies. And some of it's exclusives are excellent.

How good is it for movies in HD?

Excellent, it's as good as your connection, basically. And it only ever gets better, they're aiming for 4K IIRC.

I might sign up. £6 a month is actually pretty good. Are there any referral deals or cash back deals on signing up?

Are you with Vermin?

http://m.hotukdeals.com/deals/netflix-f ... up-1781191

Or search Netflix on that site to see what's available.

I live in a building that cannot take Vermin.

I wanted to watch the Star Wars films but they are not on Netflix just yet.

Truthfully, most big films aren't. Netflix is more 'overall mix' with an emphasis on TV, Lovefilm's better for movies. The thing I love about Netflix though is it's ability to very quickly skip frames and resume shows etc*. Lovefilm is slow-ass in every sense.

* Being able to jump past all the starting credits and crap bits in a show is greater than you'd think!

Would you know if the star wars films are on Love film?

The lack of big current films is not a problem for me. I can always wait till they get on Terrestrial TV anyway. If I really like a film I get the disk. I just thought that Netflix or Lovefilm would have a decent movie selection. Some of the TV options are possible. Though I am looking and it seems that they only have some series of any particular series.

I have lovefilm and netflix streaming subscriptions. LF is pants by comparison, and that's before you take into account the widely available browser plugins that expand one's choices at NF.

Having joined Netflix a couple of months ago I'm pretty impressed. There's quite a few TV shows and films on there and even streaming through our smart TV is good.

My bloke is in heaven as it has every single Mythbusters on it so he's started watching them all from the beginning. Also a certain formamite is using the account too and I've given a bloke at work access as the kids range is excellent and he has 4 rug rats.

There's no limit on number of devices or people using accounts. For £5.99 a month I think it's worth the money.

I had a quick look at LoveFilm and it has Grey's Anatomy on it which I may be interested but they repeating series on various sky channels anyway.
