Missing the bottom step and taking a tumble. Turned my ankle good and proper.

Ta. I can still walk on it, but I'm taking the tea and sympathy option at the moment.

Russian socialite sparks outrage with 'racist chair' http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/j ... -mannequinLooking at how the mannequin's dressed, it looks more like a comment on bondage rather than a racist one.

So if the mannequin is white (as per the original) it's not racist?...

No, then for the purposes of 'journalism' and outrage it's sexist

Agreed, to say that's racist would to me imply that the person doesn't think that black people cannot sub to white people.

I just used Yahoo for a search after getting frustrated with Google - if you thought Google was more interested in sending you to stores than answering your query... In related news, I can only conclude that the straight razor market is as poncey and over-priced as the standard razor market. And there seems to be absolutely no guarantee that the supposedly pre-sharpened razor you're ordering is what will arrive, going by the reviews. Oh, and if I wanted replaceable blades I might as well just stick with my standard razor

Quality razors though. They do a bundle as well if you ask them with a poor mans strop etc which is really good

Cheers, but it's already been too much of a hassle to risk customs fees and any more grief

While it is already bad the one day a year celebrations really should not be scrapped to cover up for the rest of industry polluting to its current levels. While I appreciate that they can be polluting is only one day and for only a few hours at most, when the fireworks will be released.
