You are watching a film and the devastatingly handsome lead has convinced the attractive love interest to come back to his spotless and tastefully furnished flat. As the music begins to swell, you think
'You'd think he'd be able to afford more than that 17" iMac'.

When you start a large coding project in Vi, find Vim has better highlighting capabilities (Visual mode FTW), then realise the gVim might shame some time off here and there...Then realise that actually, Eclipse might have been better from the start

When you don't have a clue to use the GUI to get simple things like printing to work, so resort to the command line to not complicate matters...

You correct people when they misquote Spaced.
You have a Bill Bailey or Eddie Izzard quote for every situation.
You open the calculator by typing calc in the run box and have it default to scientific mode.
You criticise people for using media player.
You scoff at any mention of Norton.
You know the default images in Matlab.

You get excited about the potential for the upcoming Turtles and He-man movies - not to mention the appearance of Soundwave in Transformers 2

Your quidco is over £100 for the year, and you have a way to reliably and cinsistently make money from free bet offers (£200 so far pure profit)
