Spotify has a fantastically annoying local ad about littering - it's all about 'the little piggies who were squealing all the way home with their £80 fine'. It then says 'littering makes a pig out of you'. Must be aimed at women; no bloke's gonna take being called a pig seriously

Which frigging genius at Microsoft decided that Windows 7 needs you to find a programme to get a GIF to play outside of a browser?

You would have thought that they would have a simple viewer app to do that. Apple has their Preview app which can do that with any image.

It used to work fine in XP. I wonder why they disabled the ability to animate it in W7.

T-Mobile just asked me for my opinion:

Quote:
Oh well - you asked.

The website is total crap - it absolutely cannot have been tested properly. Text input boxes don't update properly, pages don't render properly and the password cannot contain symbols. The colour scheme is hideous (why would you thieve your colours from the LibDems?) and the fonts even worse.

The worst thing however is that a MOBILE PHONE company cannot make a website that works on a mobile phone. What exactly is it that you lot do all day?

Far too many songs on Spotify are getting replaced with live, re-recorded or B-side versions etc. I've got an enormous playlist, madam, and it's happening with really diverse artists.

I hate that. I try and avoid live albums for that reason. It seems like a cheap solution to release older tracks and get fans to buy them. Maybe the labels are trying to make sure that Spotify is not so good that people stop buying tracks or CD's?

Need to renew my passport. Have had a look and my options appear to be:

- complete online form which gets posted back to you to sign before being sent off again £
- go to post office and pay extra to do it £££
- go in person to give documents and wait for it to be mailed back ££££
- go in person and get it done while you wait. £££££

Why can't it ever be simple? Think I'll have to go with the post office option.

I went for option 1 last time I renewed and it seemed pretty simple to me.

I need to renew both of mine. They run out three days apart.
