Has anyone been watching this on the beeb?

I watched the first 2 (although I think that might be it?) and they set me thinking about space travel and stuff.

Then I explored the internet and found out about the Nasa - Constellation mission!

We're off to the moon again! And this time it will be a 7 month outpost mission with people living on the moon out of a semi permanent lander for the duration!

I rreally think it's amazing that we can do this and the whole point of Constellation is to send people, not to the moon but to Mars!

I seriously can't wait for the first missions to be on TV. It will (finally) be a huge step forward in space exploration and our biggest step forward since 1972!

If I won £100,000,000 now on the lottery I would seriously think about giving it to Nasa in return for a 7 month ticket to the moon. It has been my dream since I was about 5 and now we are almost there again!

What's really sad, I think, is that in all this time there hasn't been a project that's fed into the public psyche as much as the moon landings did.
Can anyone think of a similar project that's had such an impact, got people so enthused? I'm struggling.
There needs to be more big science like this, I reckon. Something to fuel excitement about it, something to encourage children to doing amazing things.

The thing I think about that is that OK they MAY have faked the moon landing but then they would also have had to fake 10 space flights leading up to the fake landing and then 6 space flights after the fake landing in which there were 5 more fake landings.

If there was one or two flights then maybe but why fake 6 lunar landings? Especially after Apollo 13. Would they have faked a life threatening accident? And then why carry on after that if it was real? Why not just retire the mission and say it's down to safety?

I have heard the arguments about faking the landing but they all concentrate on Apollo 11. None of them (that I have heard) take the other 16 flights into consideration.

The conclusion I've reached is that the footage and photos are most likely fake, but I'm not certain that we didn't make the trip.

Speaking of which, there's quite a lot of odd things going on the Mars surface. Google can furnish you with more.

No doubt there was an attempt to get tot he moon for real, they found out they couldn't do it, they faked them. Honestly the more time goes by the more the footage and photos look totally fake to me, I've honestly tried to believe that they are genuine, but there's just too much iffyness about them. They faked more than one landing to rub the Russians noses in it.




How many people died on Apollo 13 and how unlikely was their survival? In fact, how many moon landings did they cock up apart from 13? They were all smooth, no one died on the Moon, considering they couldn't land a rocket vertically at the time, that's a mean feat. Also, where's the rocket noise in the cabin as the lander nears the surface? Do we ever hear rocket noise over the comms? It takes the piss how many dodgy things there are about the moon landings.


All the ones i've read cover all the missions, including a good argument for Area 51 being the staging ground.

i watched both episodes of that program and remember watching most of it live at the time

if you have a small reasonable telescope you can see the base units of the lunar module(s) on the moons surface

it does make me wonder why the rush to mars via the moon now or even better what have they found on mars that warrants this huge amount of spending to get there …
