Hmm, last nights question time (6 Feb, from Gillingham).

Note to David Starkey:
If George Galloway is coming across as more reasonable and less of a rude t!t than you you're probably doing something wrong

Admittedly just my personal opinion but one I heard from someone else at lunch today.
By all means enter into a vigorous debate with the panel but probably best to leave off insulting the audience.

Starkey's an utter ballbag. If it wasn't for his lifestyle choices, his temperament would make him an ideal UKIP candidate.

It's the opinion of pretty much everyone who isn't David Starkey.

Peter Kay show's naff. Don't mind the actual comedy, but the backstage bollocks and the bleeping of swear words is a total waste of time.

I'm increasingly perplexed by censorship in comedy. Most recently in Brooklyn Nine Nine where the precincts cop cars were being 'enhance' by having a cock and balls spray painted on the side - all nicely pixelated out
Fair enough, this a US import so maybe they have different rules but is that actually the way the program is sold internationally.
Has the watershed been abandoned as an concept?

Episode 2 - The Tagger. The one after the pilot.

I think the US version will also have it pixelated out because it goes out in the US before 9 pm on the Fox network so would have to comply with their broadcast restrictions.

And didn't all that stuff about people heckling or being in the wrong seat go ON and ON and ON?!

I didn't even get that far. I really wish comedians wouldn't bang on about their 'set' and their 'material' and methods etc; everybody knows it's a rehearsed act but nobody wants to hear about it!

Simon Cowell to return to The X Factor UK in bid to reverse ratings slide

Music mogul to return as a judge in the ITV talent show for the first time in four years as US version is axed by Fox

http://www.theguardian.com/media/2014/f ... tor-uk-itv

Hope it continues to fail

He can piss right off with his poncey, manipulative crap. And maybe the music industry might realise it needs to diversify as a result...

The Agenda (ITV, 11.05PM) has both the chancellor and Martin Lewis on it tonight :)

That said, the mere sight of George's rubber face makes me want to rip it off to see if he's 'Westworld' under there, or some sort of reptilian creature.
