And so much for an early start...

The hottest day of the year, and every idiot and cretin decided to start their accidents early. A truck shed a back wheel - the whole wheel - on the A2 London-bound, causing hold-ups back to the M2. Then another bunch of eejits pile-up further on, causing hold-ups as far as the M25 junction.

D'oh!

Still, Batman managed to get the key and got in. Which means the aircon has been on since at least 7am.
8-)

Thanks all, it went well. The interviewer didn't know what to ask me...It was all rather a strange affair seeing as I have the job, but the interview was a formality. It was so early because it was their sports day...So I had to be in and out before they all went off to play games...

Any interesting news from that? Been out of the loop for a while, so don't know how things are developing.

Not that I can remember  I know quite a few staff there so it turned out being rather liquid :? 8-)

First time I've used Lulu.com, and I am impressed.

Have you seen a book published by blurb to compare? I'm intrigued, and you being impressed has got me really quite curious.

I haven't, to be honest. I may have to see if I can acquire a Blurb publication from a couple of photographers I know... ;)

I did have a look around the Blurb site a little while ago, but I couldn't pin down likely costs. With Lulu, you can get a pretty good estimate before you start.

I'm also looking at a self-published photographic book via Aperture. It'll be for personal use, as a portfolio I can send to people to see if they'd be up for commissioning me for the odd job.
