Have just been on a massive David Gemmell jag, read almost all the Drenai stuff, then hit some David & Leigh Eddings with the Redemption of Althalus, now have dived back into Brent Weeks Lightbringer series with the Blinding Knife. I read 100 chapters (575 pages) yesterday and can't wait to get back to it, there are 2 books still to go as well

More articles (endless) and comics - A new Punisher arc which is just pure win, the new Robocop oneshots which are 'all over the place' even individually, the new Terminator comic which so far has introduced thriller elements in a cool way (something the Robocop movie reboot messed up), and Venom Vs. Carnage which was awesome.
Oh, and White Suits which is intriguing but the artwork's a little too knowing and I suspect more a way of being secretly lazy.

Currently reading Antony Beevor's D-Day The Battle For Normandy. 150+ pages in and finding it extremely engrossing. Then I'm gonna hit Berlin The Downfall 1945. yours wecrookie

Finished Lee Childs' The Affair which was by far the most disappointing Reacher book.
I'm now reading Stephen King's Doctor Sleep.

The later Reacher novels just weren't as good as the earlier ones.

Reading this and the usual Guardian articles and comics http://www.amazon.co.uk/Load-Blather-Un ... of+blatherOh, and trying to read this but it requires much more concentration when you're as easily distracted as I am http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Create-Mind ... y+kurzweil

Got a bit fed up with Doctor Sleep so I read Lee Childs' 'Nothing To Lose' which was good. I'm now going to finish Doctor Sleep.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Singularity ... F7YWB6TWDYSomehow I've wound up reading that... Again, it's good, but I find it hard to read cos my mind keeps thinking about the wider implications of what he's saying rather than staying in the narrative!

One for Big D Just got Guilt by Jussi Adler-Olsen which I'm excited about. Have you got any opinion on Asa Larsson? Looks like there's some deals in the Kindle store so might give her a go as I'm becomming obsessed with anything Nordic In other news I just started John Irving In One Person. One of my all time favourite authors.

When I can get to the end of Poland: A History, I've got the James Bond box set to read through

Well Doctor Sleep turned out to be pretty good, but I kind of expected a little more from a sequel to The Shining. I've now started 61 Hours.

Under The Skin (on Caz's recommendation) - it's very good so far, just started chapter four. It's the sort of thing that if you explain it you'll give too much away too soon

Have to go back to it, started this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Beauty-Atrocity ... hua+levineSome of the details are just surreal, even to a native. And there's any number of throwaway lines that could have made our school history lessons that much more interesting! I'm also struggling through the local Sunday rags, as usual.
