Students: When I've asked you to think of a theme for your 3 minute podcast based on the world in 30 years time, and give you a week to do it, don't shrug your shoulders at me and tell me 'you didn't have time' over the last 7 days. It wasn't an extended piece of writing, it was merely a theme or a topic. Morons!

The local O2 mast is borked, and they can't give us a fix time. I can still get a signal. Just. I get an intermittent single bar if I go into the kids' room and sit on the window sill.

We didn't even have USB ports or CD-ROM's in the PC's at our uni (come to think of it, no one has USB ports then). That made large powerpoint presentations a nightmare. I had to carry my full tower PC in on the bus on at least two occasions.

If I work until I'm 70, that'll be 2056 for me.
